(N.Y daily News)
“I know Michael K. Williams will leave audiences completely in awe as Russell Jones, the man behind the character Ol’ Dirty Bastard,” Todd Hagopian, one of the film’s producers, said in a statement."
But Ol' Dirty Bastard (aka O.D.B., aka Big Baby Jesus, aka The BZA, aka Big Box o’ Chili , aka Dirt Dog, aka Dirt McGirt, aka Old Dirty Chinese Restaurant, aka RJ Tha Mad Specialist, aka Super Bastard, aka The Professor, aka Drunken Master Styles, aka Freeloading Rusty, aka Joe Bananas, aka Dirk Hardpec, aka The Specialist, aka The Bebop Specialist, aka Ill Irving the Murderer, aka Peanut the Kidnapper) aka Russell Jones' fans might wanna hold their applause.
It seems the movie's main character is Dirt's manager Jared Wiesfeld. accordingly, the story will centralize on him and his climb from VH1 intern to Manager of one of hip hop's most accomplished groups to date.
But STILL, its gonna be dope to see a movie with such a colorful father of hip hop in the cast.
(p.s yall ever heard the story about how Michel got to hold that 'buck fifty'?)
(O.o)
